- PWS to provide a general idea of the requirement. This Request for Information (RFI)/Sources Sought (SS) Notice is for market research, information and planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a solicitation or as an obligation on the part of Walter Reed Army Institue (WRAIR) or the US Army Medical Research Acquisition Activity (USAMRAA). This request for information/sources sought is seeking Small Business sources that have the knowledge, capabilities and experience to install and provide support services for a DoD Information Assurance Certification and Accreditation Process (DIACAP) certified database and environmental monitoring system and complies with regulations specified in 21 CFR 11. The place of performance shall be at the Walter Reed Army Institute of Research in Silver Spring, MD. This request for information would also seek to identify if sources are capable of performance in Tbilisi, Georgia (OCONUS). Please idenify in the response of OCONUS capability or only capability of performance at the Silver Spring, MD location. Initial installation shall be for over 500 channels using a variety of sensors to include: -100 to 0 degrees Celsius (Low), -40 to +60 degrees Celsius (High), -200 to -100 degrees Celsius (Ultra Low), Relative Humidity (RH), C02, Pressure sensor (WC), Light, and Dry contact (Digital on/off) (DC). Support services shall include calibration of all channels at least once annually, IAW guidelines set forth by National Institutes of Standards and Technology (NIST) and installation of new channels as required. The system shall require user configurable security levels and provide alarm features that notify users via, text, email, and/or phone of sensors detecting temeratures outside of specified ranges. For additional details please see attached PWS. This announcement is not a formal solicitation and is not a request for proposal. No contract will be awarded from this announcement. No reimbursement will be made of any costs to provide information in response to this announcement or any follow up information requests. Availability of any formal solicitation will be announced under a separate announcement. This synopsis is for market research, information and planning purposes only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government. Each response must reference the sources sought title. All proprietary information should be marked as such. Responses will be held confidential if requested. Please submit fact sheets/capability statements with references for similar or like contracts performed. The references are to include contract number with points of contacts.
