Description
PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE ANNOUNCEMENT TO ASCERTAIN WEBSITE ADDRESS TO DOWNLOAD PROJECT DOCUMENTS AND PROJECT DETAILS BEFORE EMAILING FOR INFORMATION. Paper copies of the Request for Quotation (RFQ) will not be issued but the RFQ will be available on the FedConnect website (https://www.fedconnect.net/FedConnect/Default.htm) without further notice on or about April 17, 2013. The Department of the Interior, National Park Service (NPS) intends to issue RFQ P13PS00356 for Trash Collection and Disposal Services for a base 12 month period of performance and four option years at various locations at Acadia National Park, Bar Harbor, Maine. The contractor shall collect 8 cubic yard containers at the Operations, Building, Schooner Commons and Schoodic Shores Housing during the following schedule: one pick up per week May 1 through October 31 with twice monthly from November 1 through April 30. The contractor shall also collect 8 cubic yard containers at the Frazer Point Picnic Area and Moore Auditorium on the following schedule: one pick up per week from May 1 through October 31. An additional 40 cubic yard roll off shall be picked up at the Maintenance Facility on the following schedule: One unit on-site all year with three pickups to be completed upon notification from the park between May 1 and April 30. Disposal fee for the 40 cubic yard roll off shall be paid by Acadia National Park directly to the transfer station. This effort will be solicited as a small business set aside for a firm fixed priced contract subject to the Service Contract Act under NAICS code 562111 with a $12.5MIL size standard. All responsible sources may submit a quote which shall be considered by the agency. No hard copies of the solicitation will be mailed or issued. It is therefore, the contractors responsibility to check the internet site daily for any posted changes to the RFQ specifications. It is the responsibility of all offerors to acknowledge ALL amendments to the RFQ. No response to this notice is necessary and no source list will be maintained. Prospective contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) system prior to award of a Government contract. Offerors are further advised that failure to register in the SAM database will render your firm ineligible for award. Registration requires applicants to have a DUNS number. It is recommended that your firm register immediately in order to be eligible for award. This announcement does not constitute the solicitation.
