All information received in response to this Sources Sought that is marked as proprietary will be handled accordingly. In accordance with FAR 15.201(e), responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. Responders are solely responsible for all expenses associated with responding to this notice. This is not a solicitation announcement. This is a sources sought synopsis only. The purpose of this synopsis is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources relative to NAICS 531130 Lessors of Miniwarehouses and self-storage units. Responses to this synopsis will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. After review of responses to this sources sought synopsis, a solicitation announcement may be published in the FedBizOpps website. Responses to this sources sought synopsis are not considered adequate responses to the solicitation announcement. All interested offerors will have to respond to the solicitation announcement separately. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Network Contracting Office (NCO) 9, is seeking potential Lessors capable of providing approximately 5,000 usable square feet of non-climate controlled warehouse space in Louisville, KY. The warehouse space must be located within a 5 mile radius of the Robley Rex VA Medical Center located at 800 Zorn Ave, Louisville, KY 40206. Space must yield and minimum of 4,800 to a maximum of 5,000 Net Usable Square Feet (NUSF). 1 unisex restroom, 1 loading/delivery dock, all areas will have appropriate lighting, solid core doors minimum width 36", telephone and 110/220 and 120/240 power capabilities, 2 dedicated parking spaces, security, electrical, floor loading, fire and safety, after hour's access, utilities, sprinkler system and general maintenance. If you are interested and are capable of providing the required services please provide the requested information as indicated below. The intended contract period will be for one base year and five, one-year option periods, which is to begin on or about October 1, 2013.
