- Safety Instructions Guidelines for OFPM Contractors Specifications Tank Location Drawing Solicitation SB1341-13-RQ-0250 1)Contractor shall supply all labor, materials, tools and equipment to provide and install a complete and operable gaseous argon bulk delivery system in building 227. The system shall be designed, sized and includes all necessary components to deliver the process gas at the flow rates and the quality specified herein. 2)The contractor shall emplace and anchor the system outside the building on an existing concrete pad near the loading dock. 3)The contractor shall connect the tank outside the building to main distribution piping provided by others. 4)The contractor shall provide the system complete with pressure buildup device (if one required), valve manifold and remote dialer, to meet the performance requirements and have the features described herein. 5)The scope includes the initial tank fill. The contractor shall also provide option price for a full year, renewable, contract to service and refill the system. 6)Installer qualifications: Installer shall be a licensed contractor, and shall provide evidence of the successful completion of at least five projects of equal or greater size and complexity. 7)Supervise and inspect the tank system during installation, and inform the COR of any work which must be completed or modified prior to filling. Test all equipment and devices per manufacturers' recommendation, applicable codes and regulations. 8)Pressure testing shall be as applicable codes and regulations as well as manufacturers' recommendations. Test pressure shall be the 150% of the maximum operation pressure, or as required codes and regulations - whichever is higher. 9)Provide necessary crane, and/or rigging services and personnel as required to emplace tank and other equipment. 10)Provide tank with telemetry monitoring system. Telephone line and power provided by others (final tie in by contractor).
