Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs Network Contracting Office (NCO) - 18, Mesa, Arizona, intends to award a sole source purchase to OrthoView LLC, 4651 Salisbury Rd 4th Floor, Jacksonville, FL for OrthoView Orthopedic Digital Planning Software. This software will enable orthopaedic surgeons to digitally template off a digital image to produce an exact measurement for a fitted prosthesis. This replaces the necessity of using film in a filmless environment. This software is being specifically requested to facilitate in the standardization of care throughout the VA Medical Centers VISN (Veterans Integrated Service Network) 18 area. The system must interface with the VA's VISN 18 site PACS/VISTA system/suite. The NAICS Code for this procurement is 334510 with a standard size of 500 employees. This Notice of Intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government will consider all proposals and responses received within 3 calendar days after publication of this synopsis. Responses must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability by submitting literature, detailing how their products/services meet VA requirements, to the Contracting Officer or by fax 480-361-9460. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
