- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY SOLICITATION; QUOTES ARE BEING REQUESTED AND A SEPARATE WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. ANY PREVIOUS CORRESPONDENCE TO THE GOVERNMENT IS NOT A VALID QUOTE. YOU MUST REPLY TO THIS SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THE AWARD. The solicitation number for this acquisition is W912DQ-13-T-1001 and it is being issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2005-66. The associated NAICS code for this project is 339950 and the business size standard is 500 employees. This RFQ is set-aside 100% for small business. Offers shall be evaluated using Far Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. CONTRACT LINE ITEM NUMBERS quote mark See Attached Schedule quote mark INTERIOR ARCHITECTURAL OFFICE AISLE SIGNAGE PURCHASE AND INSTALLATION Army Corps of Engineers needs to purchase and install interior architectural office aisle signage for their corporate office space. The signs must be of the same professional quality, and architecturally match the existing signs in the same office. These items will be installed in the Kansas City Federal Building by 31 May 2013. Far 52.212.1 Instructions to Offerors- Commercial does apply to this acquisition with no addenda to the provision. Far 52.212-2 Evaluation- Commercial items, does apply to this acquisition. The award shall be based upon three (3) factors: Experience; Price; shop drawings; and technical specifications of the item and service offered to meet the agency's need. Offerors must include a completed copy of FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representation and Certifications- Commercial Items with their offer. This provision is included in Section K of this combined synopsis/solicitation. FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions- Commercial Items, does apply to this acquisition with no addenda to the provision. FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders- Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. These specific clauses required are detailed in Section 1 of this combined synopsis/solicitation. PARTIES INTERESTED IN RESPONDING TO THIS RFQ must submit their quote in accordance with standard commercial practice (i.e. form, letterhead, etc.) and MUST INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION: Solicitation number; company's complete mailing and remittance addresses; any discount terms; DUNS number; and Taxpayer Identification Number. Award will be made to the most qualified quoter offering the lowest price. Any questions regarding this solicitation MUST be submitted by email to the point of contact below. The System for Award Management (SAM) is a Federal Government owned and operated free web site that consolidates the capabilities in CCR, ORCA, and EPLS.
