Description

The VA Boston Healthcare System (VABHS) intends to negotiate on a sole source basis pursuant to FAR 6.302-1 -- Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements with Restorative Therapies for an upgrade to a RT300 and a new RT300 machine. This requirement will include the following characteristics: Product Description "Upgrade to existing RT300 UE FES to include electrodes, oximeter, height adjustment platform, wheel chair restraints, onsite installation, web database system and training "Purchase of a new RT300 UE SLSA to include electrodes, oximeter, height adjustment platform, wheel chair restraints, onsite installation, web database system and training Salient Characteristics SAGE is a smart stimulation therapy system. With RT300-SLSA: includes all the essentials in the RT300-SLSA package owhile leg cycling, you can stimulate up to 10 muscle groups in one or both of your legs and your trunk owhile arm cycling, you can stimulate up to 10 muscle groups in one or both of your arms and your trunk oIncludes 5 sets of electrodes, shipping, in-home installation and training o2 year warranty oCycle securely from your wheelchair oCompact size oWheels for portability This Notice of Intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals. Parties may identify their interest, accompanied by supporting literature, to the Contracting Officer no later than 03/29/2013 Noon. Responses should be sent to Kolleen.Blanton@va.gov. Information received will be for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. The determination to conduct a competitive procurement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Contracting Officer.
