STATEMENT OF WORK SPECIFICATIONS FOR STI LIGHT CURTAINS AND INSTALLATION SERVICES FOR PACIFIC PRESS MODELS K-750-18 AND K-350-10 1.0INTRODUCTION The Trident Refit Facility, Kings Bay, Georgia, has a requirement to procure STI LIGHT CURTAINS AND INSTALLATION SERVICES FOR PACIFIC PRESS MODELS K-750-18 AND K-350-10 2.0SCOPE This Statement of Work (SOW) describes the requirements for the procurement of a STI LIGHT CURTAINS AND INSTALLATION SERVICES FOR PACIFIC PRESS MODELS K-750-18 AND K-350-10 3.0GENERAL REQUIREMENTS 3.1LIST OF REQUIRED SERVICE FOR PACIFIC PRESS MODEL # K-750-18, Serial # 9968 and MODEL # k-350-10, Serial # 9967 Installation of STI Light Curtain System by Equipment Manufacturer to ensure specification compliance. This installation is to include the following: - STI Light curtain Mounting Brackets -Floating Blank Features -Mute Kit -Light Curtain on/off selector switch -Light Curtain bypass indicator -Throat Guards -Interface Box -Updated Electrical Schematics -Two copies of any and all manuals and parts listings -Required safety signs 3.2 ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS These additional requirements are required for System interface to the PLC. -Additional Box to interface required light curtain monitoring relays to main electrical cabinet. -PLC input and required output modules -Updated CPU. 3.3 INSTALLATION SERVICES Installation Services required include but not limited to: -Evaluation of current state of machine -Staging of any and all material to be used during install -Wiring in accordance with NFPA 79 -Assistance for install will be provided by TRF Kings Bay. -Any and all Hazardous material used in performance of this contract must be maintained and disposed of IAW State and Local Regulations. It is required that the contractor contact Trident Refit Facility 30 Days prior to start of work to initiate local control of Hazardous materials. 4.0 TEST AND EVALUATION REPORT A test and evaluation report documenting satisfactory performance of the equipment, identified by serial no., shall be included with each manual. Two copies of any and all related manuals, drawings, parts listings shall be included. 4.1 ON-SITE SETUP/TESTING Final Acceptance the final acceptance of the equipment furnished shall be made at destination by Trident Refit Facility s Code 106 and C108. Equipment is to be demonstrated by Pacific Press representative upon completion of project.within 30 days after receiving and installation of STI System. Acceptance shall be based upon satisfactory completion of all requirements of paragraph 4.0 Final Acceptance/Testing, as described here-in. During tests, cognizant personnel of the receiving activity shall be alert for possible signs of improper performance, malfunction and potential unreliability. 5.0SHIPPING INSTRUCTIONS 5.1SHIPPING SCHEDULE In the event that materials are required to be shipped to TRF. Scheduling of delivery will require prior approval from the Trident Refit Facility Point of Contact (POC) listed in paragraph 5.2 of the SOW. 5.2DELIVERY The carrier must make delivery between the hours of 07:30 A.M. and 02:00 P.M., Monday through Friday, except holidays. The carrier must notify the Trident Refit Facility POC listed below by telephone or fax at a minimum of 24 hours prior to delivery. The POC for this requirement is: MR.
