- Packaging Requiremet. Government Drawing G1-17-1610, Rev J. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This requirement is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The NAICS Code for this synopsis/solicitation is 32220, No. of Employees for this NAICS Code, 500. Solicitation/Purchase Request Number FA8307-13-Q-0036 issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). This document incorporates provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-60 effective 26 July 2012. The Government intends to award a Firm Fixed Price contract for an item manufactured IAW Government Drawing G1-17-1610, Rev J: Item 0001 - Noun: Mylar Timing Paper IAW Government Drawing G1-17-1610 Rev J; and Quantity: 150 Each (EA). The Automated Ground Filter Unit (AGFU) timing paper is a roll of.002 ml polyester film, is opaque white, which is 6.5 inches wide and contains 234 segments that are 20 inches in length. The timing paper is rolled onto a cardboard core that is 6.5 inches wide, and had an I.D of 3 inches, and O.D of 3.5 inches. The finished product is then package in a 10"x10"x7" box, and is protected for shipping with 2 Badger plugs on each end, part # 108010, or suitable equivalent. See enclosures for Government drawing specification and packaging requirement. Required Delivery is 5 Weeks after receipt of order. The Government intends to make an award by April 2013. Interested parties capable of providing the above must submit a written quote to include discount terms, tax identification number, cage code, and DUNS. To be eligible to receive an award resulting from this combined synopsis/solicitation, contractors must be registered in the DoD Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database, no exceptions. You may register at URL: http://www.sam.gov/. Contractors must comply with FAR 52.204-7 Central Contractor Registration and DFARS 252.204-7004, Alternate A. Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) much be completed. Use of ORCA became mandatory 1 January 2005.
