Description

RFQ FA8224-13-T-0041 for Nortec 2000D+ w/MiniMite Scanner and Spitfire 2000 Scanner This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. AFSC/OL:H/PZIMB Services and Commodities Section, Hill AFB UT intends to issue a solicitation and award to Olympus NDT Inc. on a sole source basis for three (3) Nortec 2000D+ Eddy Current Flaw Detector with MiniMite Scanner kits and four (4) Spitfire 2000 Scanner kits to support the 809th MXSS. The Nortec 2000D and compatible scanners, MiniMite and Spitfire, are the only eddy current flaw detector equipment authorized for use by the Air Force Nondestructive Inspection Program Office as specified in Techinical Order 1A-10A-36. Other sources who believe they are capable of supplying the above stated requirement may submit a capability statement and quotation which shall be considered by the agency if received prior to award.
