- Desciption of Requirements This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepares in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional informaiton included in the notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested. AG-8191-S-13-0014 is issued as an Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitaiton document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular. The provisions in 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors - Commercial, applies to this acquisition and FOB point. The provisions in 52.212-2, Evaluation - Commercial Items, if used, and the specific evaluation criteria to be included in paragraph (a) of that provision. If this provision is not used, described the evaluation procedures to be used. USDA Forest Service is seeking to lease a 10,000 - 18,000 square foot warehouse for a short term lease. No work will be performed at the site, only off-loading and on-loading of tractor trailers, trucks, step van and passenger vans. Some items that may possibly be stored include but not limited to accountable property that are consider hazardous materials class 3 (flammable) and class 5 oxidizers are: cartridges (blanks), fusses (flares), fire extinguishers, propane, solvent, and potassium permanganate. A cement floor and building layout in a rectangular or square pattern. The more complex the design the harder it is to arrange storage. The driveway/parking lot must be a minimum height of 16 feet so that pallets can be stacked. The building must have at least 1 rest room, and come with water and electric in the monthly billing. To protect Government property the building should have fire sprinklers and if possible, but not necessary an alarm system. The building must have access ability 24 hours per day per week during the length of the contract. The building should be located as close to the Fire Center (2400 Melville Rd. Prescott, AZ 86301) as reaonably possible, no furhter than 15 miles, Access to Route 89A is highly important. (Reasonableness is deemed Prescott, Prescott Valley, and Chino Valley). The building must be located away from heavy traffic to reduce difficulties of ingress and egress reducing the potential of vehicle accidents. At least one truck dock is a must for loading/offloading 53 ft. trailers At lest two additional overhead doors with a minimum size of 12 by 12 foot for fork trucks. Active months being Arpil 15 through July 15, option months are August and September. We will not want the building beyond 180 days. The Building, Leased Space, and areas servicing the leased space shall be accessible to persons with disabilities in accordance with the Architectural Barriers Act Accessibility Standard (ABAAS).
