- Description
- The Federal Bureau of Prisons - Federal Correctional Institution, 1529 W. U.S. Hwy 366, Safford, Arizona 85546, intends to make a single award to a qualified small business for the provision of installing Visitation Store Front Glass/Framing/Doors. The North American Industries Classification System (NAICS) Code is 238150 (Size Standard: $14 million). The contract type is a firm fixed price construction contract. The contractor shall be responsible for, but not limited to; complete fabrication and installation of Store Front and it shall be constructed in accordance with all Federal Bureau of Prisons, and trade compliant specifications. Delivery of a complete and functional Strore Front is required. The contractor will be required to obtain security clearances and attend a orientation program if necessary. This contract will require performance, and payment bonds. The magnitude of this project is $25,000 to $80,000. The project is scheduled for 28 calendar day completion cycle from the date the responsible contractor receives their notice to proceed. Contract work hours will consist of Monday through Friday 7:00a.m. to 3:30p.m. (MST, Arizona), except federal holidays and weekends. All contractors doing business with the Federal Government must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. The website for registration is www.sam.gov. The solicitation will be made available on or about March 15, 2013 and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration Federal Business Opportunities website at www.fbo.gov. All future information concerning this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will be distributed solely through this website. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure you have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The anticipated date of receipt of quotes is on or about April 1, 2013. This solicitation is 100% set-a-side for small business and all responsive/responsible offers will be considered. Faith-Based and Community-Based organizations can submit quotations equally with other organizations for contracts which they are eligible.
