Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with the information in FAR Subpart 12.6, if applicable, using Simplified Acquisition Procedures under the test program for commercial items found at FAR 13.5, as supplemented with the additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a separate written solicitation will not be issued. PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE. This combined synopsis/solicitation SHALL be posted on FEDBIZOPPS. The RFQ number is _W91236_-13_-T-_0024_. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses in effect through FAC 2005-66_ and DFARS Change Notice 2013 28 February. It is the responsibility of the contractor to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions. The proposed contract is 100% set aside for small business concerns. The United States Army Corps of Engineers, Norfolk District requests responses from qualified sources capable of providing: Janitorial Services for Recruiting Station in Staunton, Virginia for the unit of issue: Months, quantity:12. Period of Performance is 1 April 2013 thru 31 March 2014 with four, One (1) year Options; Delivery Location is 823 Richmond Ave, Staunton, Virginia. Responsibility and Inspection: unless otherwise specified in the order, the Government is responsible for the performance of all inspection requirements and quality control. Additional contract terms and conditions applicable to this procurement are: DFARS 252.212-7000, Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items; DFARS 252.212-7001, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders Applicable to Defense Acquisitions of Commercial Items including The Government will evaluate offers for award purposes by adding the total price for all options to the total price for the basic requirement. The Government may determine that an offer is unacceptable if the option prices are significantly unbalanced. Evaluation of options shall not obligate the Government to exercise the option(s). The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price considered. Each response must clearly indicate the capability of the quoter to meet all specifications and requirements. Award will be made only if the offeror, the product/service or the manufacturer meets qualification requirement at time of award, in accordance with FAR clause 52.209-1 or 52.209-2. The solicitation identifies the office where additional information can be obtained concerning qualification requirements and is cited in each individual solicitation.
