Description
This is a SYNOPSIS NOTICE ONLY. This is not a solicitation or request for quotes or proposals and no contract or purchase order will be awarded from this notice. There is no solicitation, specifications or drawings available at this time. Military Sealift Command (MSC) - Norfolk will be issuing a solicitation on or about 03 April 2013 for the Mid-Term Availability (MTA) of the USNS GUADALUPE (T-AO 200) commencing on or about 30 August 2013 for a period of thirty (30) calendar days. The USNS GUADALUPE is one of Military Sealift Command's fifteen Fleet Replenishment Oilers and is part of the 34 ships in the Military Sealift Command'sThis is a SYNOPSIS NOTICE ONLY. Major maintenance and repair items associated with this availability include: Lifeboats & Davit Maintenance and Testing; UNREP Gear Maintenance, Saddle Winch Motor Overhaul; 06 Level Air Handler Unit Overhaul; Ventilation Fan Motor Overhauls; Tank Deck Overhead Preservation; Potable Water Stack Valve Replacements; Port Main Engine Overhaul; Annual Firefighting Inspection/certification; Port and Starboard Fuel Pump Overhaul; SSDG Turbo Charger Overhaul; Overhaul of Evaporator #1 and #2; 07, 06, 05, 04, 03, 02 Nonskid Preservation; Central Fresh Water Pump No. 2 Overhaul; Salt Water Pump No. 1, 2 Overhaul; Start Air Compressor Overhaul; Biannual Gauge Calibration; Main and Emergency Switchboard Cleaning; Antenna Maintenance; Overhaul CFW Cooler; and Overhaul Jacket Water Cooler. Once released, the Request for Proposals (RFP) will be available on the MSC Contracts page (http://www.msc.navy.mil/) and Federal Business Opportunities (www.fbo.gov) website under Solicitation Number N32205-13-R-1004.
