Description
Relief Well Pump System for Chena Project Office, North Pole, Alaska. GENERAL SPECIFICATIONS Pump The pump shall be able to be used in wells of eight to ten inches nominal diameter and varying depth from 28 to 125 feet below the ground surface. The largest wells are 12 inches in diameter, 125 feet below the ground surface, and have about 110 feet of screened length using.20 slot stainless steel. The submersible pump shall be a FPS STS Series Eight Inch Submersible Turbine Pump or equivalent. Have the minimum requirement of 1000 gallons per minute, run on a 50 hp motor, maximum eight inches in diameter so that it can fit into an eight to 12 inch nominal well, the capability of surging and stopping quickly, and run off of a 50 kW three phase generator. Motor The motor shall be a minimum of 50 hp, compatible with the pump and control panel and capable of supporting the pump at max output requirements. Control Panel The control panel with cables shall be supplied with the pump and in working order. An instruction booklet for operation and maintenance shall also be provided with delivery of unit. The Control panel will have cables that are able to operate the pump at depths of 125 feet and have power supply cables that extend 50 feet from the control panel to a 50 kW generator. Shipping Shipping will include the cost of shipping the unit (motor, pump, control panel, and other parts) to the Chena project office at this address.
