Description

It is the intent of the Department of Veteran's Affairs (VA) to issue a solicitation for nursing home services on a regular, as-needed basis in the following Pennsylvania counties: Adams, Berks, Cumberland, Dauphin, Lancaster, Lebanon, Northumberland, Perry, Schuylkill, and York. Proposed solicitation number VA244-13-Q-0446 is anticipated to be posted to the website for Federal Business Opportunities (www.fbo.gov) on or about March 11, 2013, with a closing date on or about April 12, 2013. It is anticipated that this request for quotations (RFQ) will result in the award of multiple basic ordering agreements (BOA's) within the aforementioned counties; and that the total number of BOA's may be limited based on geographical dispersion. The awards will be made on or about May 31, 2013, based on a best value determination considering technical capabilities, past performance, and price. The NAICS code for this RFQ is 623110, and the solicitation will be open to full and open competition. The contracting office responsible for both the pre-award and post-award phases of this solicitation is located at the Lebanon VA Medical Center (VAMC) at 1700 S. Lincoln Ave. in Lebanon, PA 17042. Questions will be due in writing by the due date specified in the RFQ, and will be answered at a live vendor event to be held at the VAMC on Thursday April 4, 2013. All interested vendors are encouraged to attend this event, if possible.
