Description

This is a sources sought notice for planning purposes only. No proposals are being requested or accepted with this survey. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION FOR PROPOSALS AND NO CONTRACT SHALL BE AWARDED FROM THIS SURVEY. THIS SYNOPSIS IS FOR MARKET RESEARCH PURPOSES AND TO DETERMINE THE EXTENT OF AVAILABLE COMPETITION TO INCLUDE SOCIO-ECONOMIC GROUPS. The type of solicitation issued will depend upon the responses to this Survey. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Central Arkansas Veterans Healthcare System (CAVHS), is seeking sources for an upcoming procurement for Pick-up, Transport and Disposal of all Trash/Non Hazardous solid waste for FY 13 and or FY 14. The contractor shall provide all labor, management, equipment, supplies, transportation, applicable licenses and permits, and other items and services necessary to perform non-regulated general, miscellaneous waste and trash removal services for the removal and disposal of three (3) (Contractor provided) forty (40) cubic yard open top solid waste dumpster, 166 collections per year total. Two (2) (Government provided) forty (40) cubic yard closed compactor dumpsters, 208 collections per year. One (1) 8 yard dumpster, six (6) collections per year. All dumpsters are positioned at locations on the Department of Veterans Affairs Central Arkansas Veterans Health Care (CAVHS) Campuses located at 4300 West 7th Street Little Rock, AR 72205, Grounds facility, North and East loading docks and 2200 Fort Roots Drive Campus North Little Rock, AR 72114, buildings 75, 76, 189. The Contractor shall perform to the standards in the contract as well as all local, state, and federal regulations. All landfill fees shall be paid by the Contractor. All work shall be performed during normal business hours of the Medical Center, which is 7:30am through 4:30pm. No phone calls will be accepted. All Offerors need to identify their socio-economic status, CCR Cage number, and DUNS number in responses. All Offerors must be registered in the System Award Management database www.sam.gov. Additionally, to be eligible for contract award a firm must complete annual representation and certifications at http://orca.bpn.gov, and must be current in VETS-100 reporting which can be accomplished at http://www.vets100.cudenver.edu/.
