This is a sources sought notice for planning purposes only. No proposals are being requested or accepted with this survey. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION FOR PROPOSALS AND NO CONTRACT SHALL BE AWARDED FROM THIS SURVEY. THIS SYNOPSIS IS FOR MARKET RESEARCH PURPOSES AND TO DETERMINE THE EXTENT OF AVAILABLE SERVICE DISABLED VETERAN OWNED SMALL BUSINESSES and VETERAN OWNED SMALL BUSINESSES that can fulfill asbestos air monitoring. The Syracuse Veterans Medial Center located in Syracuse NY 13210, has an upcoming requirement to solicit for and award an air asbestos monitoring contract. It is anticipated that the proposed services will result in a Firm Fixed-Priced requirements contract with ONE (1) Base year and THREE (3) one year option periods. Air monitoring Services must be accomplished by experienced and professional employees certified to work with asbestos air monitoring. The type of solicitation to issue will be based upon the responses to this notice. Contact with Government Personnel, other than the Contract Specialist identified at the bottom of this notice, by any potential offeror, or their employee, regarding this requirement is strictly prohibited. Important Information: The Government is not obligated to nor will it pay for or reimburse any costs associated with responding to this sources sought synopsis request. This notice shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or ultimately award a contract, nor does it restrict the Government to a particular acquisition approach. The Government will in no way be bound to this information if any solicitation is issued. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 562910 (500 employees). Responses to this Sources Sought Notice should demonstrate the firm's ability, capability, and responsibility to deliver the service listed above. All interested parties should submit on company letterhead an indication of the extent of interest to sandra.fisher3@va.gov. Your response should include: Offeror' s name, address, point of contact, phone number, and e-mail address. Offeror's interest in providing a proposal/quote on the solicitation when it is issued. All Offerors need to identify their socio-economic status, DUNS number. All Offerors must be registered in the System Award Management database www.sam.gov. Additionally, to be eligible for contract award a firm must complete annual representation and certifications at http://orca.bpn.gov, and must be current in VETS-100 reporting which can be accomplished at http://www.vets100.cud.edu. AND be CVE verified in Vetbiz.gov at the time of bid/proposal submission.
