Description
New Manufactured Material or New/Unused Government Surplus Material will be acceptable for this acquisition. Generator Armature-Rotor for F-16; AMC code 3P. NSN: 6115-01-267-2397 HY. OEM Code: 99167. PN: 949F519-2. Description: Component item for the F-16 60KVA generator. Armature rotor rotates within the main stator at 11400 to 12600 RPM. This rotor with the main stator induces alternating current to power electrical circuits throughout the aircraft. Dimensions are approximately 12 inches length, 6 inches width, 6 inches height and weighs approximately 15 pounds. Material is steel and copper. Quantity: 12 each. Destination: SW3211, Tinker AFB OK. Delivery Schedule: Total quantity of 12 each on or before 07 April 2014. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. An ombudsman has been appointed to hear and facilitate the resolution of concerns from offerors, potential offerors, and others for this acquisition. When requested, the ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to the source of the concern. The existence of the ombudsman does not affect the authority of the program manager, contracting officer, or source selection official. Further, the ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals, the source selection process, or the adjudication of protests or formal contract disputes. The ombudsman may refer the party to another official who can resolve the concern. Interested parties are invited to call the Ombudsman at (405) 734-8241. Do not contact the ombudsman to request copies of the solicitation, verify offer due date, or clarify technical requirements. Such inquiries shall be directed to the Contracting Officer. Based upon market research, the Government is not using policies contained in FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services. However, interested parties may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice. Electronic procedures will be used for this solicitation. Request for Written Quotation/Proposal will be issued. Only written or faxed requests received directly from the requestors are acceptable.
