- This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov/ and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at https://www.neco.navy.mil/ While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by NSWC Crane. This requirement is for Inventory Control, Obsolescence Identification, Engineering Support, and Material Procurement in support of the EA-6B, EA-18G, P8-A, and CEASAR. The objective of inventory control is to ensure that each and every time the technician attempts to draw material from a repair bin in the subject repair laboratories the material is available. If material is obsolete, the contractor may be required to conduct an analysis to identify alternate material or conduct a reengineering effort to meet the Government ™s need. The contractor will also be required to procure material/parts known as Spot Buys as well as material form the Government stock system. This 5-year effort will include one base year and four option years for all Contract Line Item Numbers (CLINs). Contractors must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration database. Delivery is required F.O.B. Destination. Inspection and acceptance will be at destination. The Government intends to award to the responsible contractor whose offer is the best value to the Government, considering Technical, Past Performance, and Price related factors. The solicitation will be available on or about 5 May 2013 at the following address: http://www.fbo.gov. All changes to the requirement that occur prior to the closing date will be posted to FedBizOpps and NECO. It is the responsibility of interested vendors to monitor FedBizOpps and NECO. It is the responsibility of interested vendors to monitor the Crane web site, FedBizOpps and/or NECO for amendments that may be issued to this solicitation. For changes made after the closing date, only those offerors that provide a proposal will be provided any changes/amendments and considered for future discussions and/or award. œNo hard copies of the solicitation will be mailed . Interested sources must download from the www site listed and must contact Mr. Matt Burkett via email at matt.burkett@navy.mil with any questions.
