Description
This Sources Sought is an advance notice for information and planning purposes only and is not a solicitation. Sources are being sought for a contemplated Firm-Fixed Price Contract at F.E. Warren Air Force Base located in Cheyenne Wyoming to demolish and remove a three story dormitory and adjacent parking lot located on F.E. Warren AFB. The magnitude of this project is estimated to be in the range of $500,000 to $1,000,000 with a 90 day period of performance. Work primarily consists of, but is not limited to, providing all labor, material, equipment, permits and management to: Remove and dispose of any remaining appliances. Remove all existing concrete pads; demolish foundation walls and other below-grade construction including concrete foundations, footers slabs and pavements. Fill-in below-grade areas and voids. Cut and cap any utilities. Hydro seed all areas disturbed by demolition. Provide fencing and security as needed during demolition. The contractor is responsible to completely abate all asbestos-containing material (ACM) including floor tiles. The contractor is responsible to conducting inspections/testing to ensure that all ACM is identified to include floor tiles, mastic, and building roof. Based upon the age of the dormitory lead based paint (LBP) is presumed to be located on all painted surfaces. For demolition purposes, either a toxicity characteristic leaching procedure must be performed on all material or the contractor can perform a full LBP abatement. The contractor will coordinate with Wyoming DEQ for all required testing and permits. This dormitory was constructed in 1957 and is a cinder block/concrete building. The dormitory has been remodeled over the years with the last major renovation in the late 1980s. Request that interested parties provide the following information: 1. Business status (Socio-Economic Factor) under NAICS CODE 238910 Site Preparation with an associated Size Standard of $14,000,000. 2. Capabilities statement stating experience in the type of work referenced above. 3. Capabilities statement on how you intend test and abate the structure. 4.
