Description
The Mid-Pacific Region of the Bureau of Reclamation intends to issue a Invitation for Bids (IFB) for a firm fixed-price contract for Reach 2A Napa Avenue Bank Stabilization. This procurement is set-aside for Total Small Business concerns only. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which will be considered by the agency. The work to be performed is described below. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 237990 and the related small business size standard is $33.5M. This notice is not a request for proposal and the information presented in this announcement will not obligate the Bureau of Reclamation in any manner. The estimated cost of this project is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. Work will be located approximately 3 miles downstream (west) of Gravelly Ford and 6 miles upstream of the Chowchilla Canal Bifurcation Structure, approximately 13 miles northwest of Kerman, California in Fresno County. Solicitation R13PS20107 will be posted to http://ideasec.nbc.gov on or about March 22, 2013. The date for receipt of offers will be approximately April 22, 2013. The solicitation must be downloaded at the above website; no paper copy of this solicitation will be distributed. Prospective contractors MUST be actively registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database at http://www.sam.gov to be eligible for award. Questions concerning this solicitation should be directed to Kyle Daniska by email at kdaniska@usbr.gov. The work consists of constructing rock groins in the dry. Principal components of the work include: 1.Remove and dispose vegetation. 2.Furnishing and placing rock groins. 3.Excavating key and base of rock groin structures. 4.Furnishing and installing geotextile under rock groins. 5.Acquiring and complying with Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP). 6.Apply dust palliative and perform other dust abatement. 7.Grade and repair roads to pre-construction condition.
