Description
Sources Sought / MARKET RESEARCH Operation and Maintenance of the Multi-Purpose Training Range (MPTR) and Facilities Services at the Yakima Training Center (YTC), Yakima, Washington. The Department of the Army, Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC), Joint Base Lewis-McChord (JBLM), Washington, is currently requesting information in order to determine the existence of viable commercial sources capable of providing the services described below. The contractor shall provide all required MPTR service for a period of one (1) year - 01 April 2013 through 31 March 2014. This contract will also contain the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Clause, Option to Extend Services (Nov 1999), which could extend the contract another six (6) months: 01 April 2014 through 30 September 2014. Description of services: The contractor shall plan, program, administer, manage, and execute the work necessary to provide the Operation and Maintenance of the Multi-Purpose Training Range (MPTR) and Facilities Services. The contractor shall perform facilities maintenance and repair, custodial services, road maintenance and repair, and snow removal. The contractor shall comply with applicable Federal, State, and Local laws, regulations, and directives to include applicable publications. The contractor shall perform all related contractor administrative services required to perform work such as materiel requisitioning, quality control (QC), financial control, and correspondence. The contractor shall also maintain accurate and complete records, files, and libraries of documents to include Federal, State, and Local regulations, codes, laws, technical manuals, and manufacturers' instructions and recommendations, which are necessary and related to the functions. The contractor shall compile historical data, prepare required reports, and submit information as specified by the contract. The Government is not soliciting offers at this time, this sources sought notice is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources. A solicitation is not currently available. This sources sought announcement is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, implied or otherwise, to issue a solicitation or to award a contract. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this synopsis or any follow-up information requests.
