Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs, Southern Arizona VA Health Care System in Tucson, AZ has a need to contract support for the transport of human remains and burial preparation services. Transport of human remains services is in the Tucson, Arizona Metro area as well as to the National Cemetery in Phoenix, AZ. The NAICS Code for this requirement is 812210 Funeral Homes and Funeral Services with a size standard of $7 Million. This acquisition is a small business set-aside for a multiple award Firm Fixed Price, Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity type contract, for a base period of date of award through 09/30/2013 plus four one-year option periods. A formal Request for Quote (RFQ) in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12 Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures will be issued on or about March 6, 2013 via FEDBIZOPPS at www.fbo.gov.
