Description
Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Keyport intends to solicit and award a sole source contract to Martinez and Turek, Inc. of Rialto, California under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, Only one source will satisfy agency requirements. The requirement is for conducting a feasibility study on the usability of the Advanced SEAL Delivery System (ASDS) Land Transport Vehicle (LTV), designed and developed by Martinez and Turek, Inc., for a Mobile Anti-Submarine Training Target (MASTT). This procurement will include two options. Option One (1) is to develop design scenarios for modifying the LTV. Option Two (2) is to modify the LTV to meet the MASTT requirements. The requirement is being issued as a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items in accordance with FAR 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in the attached solicitation. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. However, interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. The solicitation number for this requirement is N00253-13-R-0016. The applicable NAICS code for this requirement is 336999 and has a size standard of 500 Employees. The Government will consider all responses received prior to the closing date of this combined synopsis/solicitation. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government.
