Description

This is a Sources Sought Announcement only. There is no solicitation available at this time. Request for a Solicitation will not receive a response. The Naval Surface Warfare Center Carderock Division (NSWCCD) in West Bethesda, MD is conducting market research to determine the availability, interest, and capability of potential sources to provide a Wireless Resonant Induction Energy Transfer System (WRIETS) to be leased OR purchased by the NSWCCD. The Government ™s determination on how to compete the proposed requirement will be made based on responses to this notice. This notice is issued solely for information and planning purposes and does not constitute a Request for Quotation (RFQ). In the event a solicitation is developed, it will be assigned a formal number and the announcement will be published on the FedBizOpps website at www.fbo.gov Specifically, this RFI is seeking information regarding possible vendors that can provide Wireless Resonant Induction Energy Transfer System per a Statement of Work. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 334516 Analytical Laboratory Instrument Manufacturing. The NSWCCD requests interested parties submit a brief statement of current capability to provide Wireless Induction Energy Transfer System. Interested and qualified sources should provide the following information: (1) Company Name, Point of Contact, e-mail address, telephone and fax numbers; (2) information about your company and why your company can provide the Wireless Resonant Induction Energy Transfer System; either lease or purchase. Any information submitted by respondents to this RFI is strictly voluntary. In order to be considered in this market survey, please reply by 5:00 p.m., Wednesday, 03 April 2013.
