Solicitation Number: FA8307-13-R-0010 SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS (Not a Notice of Solicitation) Address: 320 Hall Blvd Suite 217, San Antonio, TX 78243-7007 Title: KG-777 (KGR-777 & KGT-777) Response Date: 30 Calendar Days from Date Posted The Cryptologic Systems Division, Space COMSEC Branch (CPSD/HNCS) at Lackland AFB, San Antonio TX is seeking potential sources that are able to manufacture the KGT-777 Space-qualified equipment and the corresponding KGR-777 Ground equipment to continue meeting the NSA requirements for Communications Security (COMSEC) hardware products that are certified NSA Type 1 COMSEC products. The KGR-777 and KGT-777 is a new product line which provides the capability to secure mission data for current and future DoD, IC, and other Government agency satellite systems. The KGR-777 and KGT-777 are proprietary in nature and the Government does not own full data rights to the design. As stipulated in FAR 15.201, responses to this notice are not considered offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. No solicitation exists; therefore, do not request a copy of the solicitation. The decision to solicit for a contract shall be solely within the Government's discretion. Any information submitted by respondents to this sources sought synopsis is voluntary. This sources sought notice is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, nor will the Government reimburse any costs associated with the submission of information in response to this notice. Respondents will not individually be notified of the results of any Government assessments. Firms responding to this notice shall indicate whether or not they are a small business concern as defined in FAR 52.219-1 and indicate if they are 8(a), Small Disadvantaged Business, Woman Owned Small Business, Veteran Owned Small Business, HUB Zone Small Business, Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business, and HBCU/MI. The NAICS Code is 334220 Radio and Television Broadcasting and Wireless Communications Equipment Manufacturing; Satellite communications equipment manufacturing; the Small Business Size Standard is 500 employees. CAPABILITIES PACKAGE: All interested parties who believe they can meet the requirements are invited to submit a capabilities package that explicitly describes their authorization and demonstrates their ability to perform the work specified herein.
