- This Notice of Intent to Establish a Qualified Supplier List is for information purposes only. This is not a request for submission of proposals or qualifications. RESPONSES OR OTHER INQUIRIES ARE NOT APPROPRIATE AT THIS TIME. The Defense Medical Materiel Program Office (DMMPO) Medical Materiel Enterprise Standardization Office (MMESO) and DLA Troop Support Medical Prime Vendor (PV) Program anticipate issuing a Sources Sought Notification for the establishment of a Qualified Suppliers Listing (QSL) for Central Venous Catheters (CVCs) through the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website on or about 01 April 2013. This is not a request for quote or proposal. Examples of items for the QSL could include but are not limited to: single use, latex-free/safe catheters and trays/sets available to include at a minimum antimicrobial CVC 7FR 20-30centimeters long (CML) triple lumen full procedure tray, antimicrobial CVC 7FR 20CML triple lumen maximum barrier tray, CVC 7FR 20CML triple lumen full procedure tray, antimicrobial CVC 7FR 15-16CML triple lumen full procedure tray, CVC 7FR 20CML triple lumen basic tray, CVC 7FR 20CML triple lumen maximum barrier tray. The basic, full procedure, and maximum barrier trays/sets are defined as follows: Basic Tray (6 minimum items) one-CVC, one-introducer needle, one-wire guide, one-dilator, one-5 ml syringe, and three-injection caps; Full Procedure Tray (24 minimum items) one-CVC, one- introducer needle, one-wire guide, one-dilator, one-18g over-the-needle catheter, one-5 ml syringe, three-injection caps, one-25g safety needle, one-22g safety needle, one-5ml ampule 1% Lidocaine, one-filter straw device, one-small Sharps/needle holder device, one-One Step ChloraPrep Applicator, one-24" x 36" fenestrated drape with 4" fenestration, five-2"x2" gauze sponges, five-4"x4" gauze sponges, two-3 ml syringes, one-disposable #11 safety scalpel, one-suture w/needle, one-needle holder, one-Povidone-Iodine ointment, one-transparent dressing, one-CSR wrap, and one-prep tray; and the Maximum Barrier Tray (29 minimum items) includes the 24 Full Procedure Tray items and one-maximal barrier drape (full body length) with 4" fenestration, one-bouffant cap, one-impervious gown size large, one-mask with eye shield, and one-towel. The primary objective of this effort will be to solicit information and products for evaluation in order to create a QSL. The QSL for CVCs will be the basis of a separate Standardization Action (SA) resulting in an Incentive Agreement (IA). This initiative will be part of the Medical/Surgical Prime Vendor program which is executed by the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Troop Support, Directorate of Medical Materiel. To participate in the QSL process vendors must have or be in the process of obtaining a Distribution and Pricing Agreement (DAPA) and a separate commercial agreement with the current Med-Surg PV for each MMESO Area of Responsibility (AOR), i.e., Cardinal Health, and Owens & Minor. Vendors must have a current and active Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) Code. For additional information regarding DLA Troop Support Medical's PV program, please access the DLA web site at https://www.medical.dla.mil. Vendors must update relevant part numbers for this product line in the DAPA Management System with the country from which each line item is an end product, IAW the Trade Agreements Act. Vendors responding to the QSL FBO Announcement will be required to ensure that all DAPA line items/end products in the subject product line are Trade Agreements compliant. Detailed information about the QSL requirements will be provided in the QSL FBO Announcement. The purpose of this Notice of Intent to Establish a Qualified Supplier List is to inform qualified entities interested in providing these services that the release of the QSL FBO is imminent.
