- This is a SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE only. Responses to this notice will be used for information and planning purposes. No proposals are being requested or accepted with this notice. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION FOR PROPOSALS AND NO CONTRACT SHALL BE AWARDED FROM THIS NOTICE. This notice shall not be construed as a solicitation or as an obligation on the part of the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). Responses to this sources sought is not a request to be added to a prospective bidders list or to receive a copy of the solicitation. The South Texas Veterans Health Care Systems is conducting market research for qualified firms capable of providing the below listed services, and their size classification (service disabled veteran owned small business, veteran owned small business, hub zone, 8(a), small disadvantage business, woman-owned, small business, or large business) relative to NAICS 621420(size standard $14 Million). 1) Ability to designate one or more days a week for use of telemedicine equipment, room, and staff between 8:00am - 5:00pm. 2)Have existing facilities, equipment, and staff capable of providing secure Clinical Video Teleconferencing, taking vitals of patients as needed and ability to assist Veterans Affairs (VA) Telemental Health Providers in managing any medical/mental health emergencies which may arise during the telemental health visits. 3)Have existing facilities in one or more of the following Areas but NOT within 60 miles of a VA-staffed Facility: Area 1: South Texas (Kenney, Edwards, Atascosa, Zavala, Frio, Wilson, Val Verde, Live Oak, Bee) Area 2: Valley Coastal Bend (Maverick, McMullen, Nueces, Jim Wells, Duval, La Salle, Kleberg, Dimmitt, Webb, Brooks, Kennedy) Area 3: Childress, Hardeman, Wilbarger, Wichita, Clay, Montague, Wise, Jack, Young, Archer, Throck-Morton, Baylor, Knox, Foard, Cottle, Dickens, King, Stonewall, Haskell Area 4: Rains, Wood, Van Zandt, Henderson, Smith 4) Have a private exam room/telemental health suite equipped with Clinical Video Teleconferencing Equipment 5) If requested by the VA Mental Health provider, appropriately licensed nurses/nurses aids at the facility to collect vital signs and verbally report the results to the VA provider at the beginning of the telemental health session. Offerors having the capabilities necessary to provide the above stated services are invited to provide information to contribute to this Sources Sought notice including commercial market information and company information via e-mail to Tammy Mattox at Tammy.Mattox@va.gov no later than 4:00 pm CST March 07, 2013.
