Description

Intent to Sole Source The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO 6) intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with McKesson Plasma and Biologics, LLC., to purchase 15 vials and 10 vials of intravenous immunoglobin (IVIG)- Gammunex-C, 20 gm and 10 gm, respectively, in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation 6.302-2. The NAICS code for this procurement is 424210 with a business size of 100 employees. This requirement will be fulfilled on a sole-source basis in accordance with FAR 6.302-2, unusual and compelling urgency. This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive proposals. THIS NOTICE IS NEITHER A REQUEST FOR QUOTATION NOR A SOLICITATION OF OFFERS. A determination not to compete this proposal contract has been made Pursuant to 41 U.S.C. 253 (c)(1), as implemented by 6.302-1(b)(1)(i), this requirement has been justified and approved in accordance with FAR 6.303 and FAR 6.304. All inquires and concerns must be addressed in writing to the e-mail address stated herein. Because of the emergency nature of the procurement, responses to this notice must be received by 3/5/2013, before 10:00 am EST to dori.dabbs2@va.gov. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
