ACC Innovation Summit - Superiority Past and Future - Col Hinote ACC Innovation Summit - Eastern Thought - Dr. TJ Cheng ACC Innovation Summit - Directed Energy 2030 - Dr. Hardy ACC Innovation Summit - Animal Defenses - Dr. Cristol AIR COMBAT COMMAND 2013 Air Superiority Innovation Summit, Phase II UPDATE: Phase I of the Air Combat Command Innovation Summit - Air Superiority: 2030 and Beyond was held 4 Jan 2013. For those who were unable to attend, the slides from Phase I have been attached to this update. We are pleased to announce Phase II of the Air Superiority Innovation Summit will be held at the General Bill Creech Conference Center, Joint Base Langley-Eustis(JBLE),VA on 14 May 2013. This is a concept call. We welcome the Industry participants from the 4 January 2013 Summit as well as new technology innovators and visionaries to this follow-on event. Your involvement is critical to our success. During the first summit, we challenged you to look within your organizations, think differently about air superiority and come up with creative ideas and new approaches to the problem. 14 May is your opportunity to present your ideas and concepts. The format will provide everyone that has a presentation 15-20 minutes to describe their concept to a panel of subject matter experts, Core Function/Weapon System Team Chiefs, and Directors who will then select the best to go forward to Gen Hostage. Be ready to stick around to the late afternoon and give an abbreviated executive summary!) Think about multiple domain approaches and multiple layers of effects that will provide us freedom from attack, freedom to maneuver, and freedom to operate in the air. Ideas and concepts may be partial solutions to be combined with other capabilities and technologies, or holistic. Partial solutions that can be combined in unique and creative ways with other capabilities are absolutely welcome! In the near future we will be providing more guidance on briefing content and format. All parties interested in presenting a concept at Phase II of the Summit on 14 May 2013, must please contact Capt De Alba Ascencio (info below) to reserve a time slot and advise of data classification and applicable proprietary or competition-sensitive disclaimers. Any questions on the Summit, please direct them to Col Keith Acree at DSN 574-4869, Commercial 757-764-4869 or email, keith.acree@us.af.mil. Briefings may go up to SECRET.
