Description
FOR MORE INFORMATION PLEASE CONTACT: Roger Louisaire, Electronics Engineer, (443) 395-6361, roger.a.louisaire.civ@mail.mil This is a market survey to locate sources for Commercial X Band Satellite and C, X, and Ku Band communication capabilities. The Commercial satellite should have similar or equivalent functions and operations with AS-4429C/TSC Lightweight High-Gain X-Band Antenna (LHGXA) and AS-4429D Large Aperture Multiband Deployable Antenna (LAMDA), plus feed assemblies and associated spare parts. The LHGXA is a X-Band antenna that has a sixteen-foot reflector and serves as a Quick Deployment Satellite antenna for Ground Mobile Forces terminals. The LAMDA is a variant of the LHGXA that provides C, X, and Ku Band communication capabilities. The LHGXA and LAMDA are complex assemblies designed to work with high power radio frequency energy within a tactical environment. Both antennas are built on a trailer configuration, and can be towed by a HMMWV or a five ton truck, or transported by air or rail. Detailed technical data such as engineering drawings, specifications, and test procedures for the manufacture or acceptance of these items are not available from the Army. Suppliers capable of furnishing these items must so indicate in writing to: Commander, U.S. PEO C3T, ATTN: RDER-PRC-CM (Roger Louisaire), Building 6010, Frankford St, APG, MD 21005-1848. Response via electronic media using Microsoft Office products (i.e., Microsoft Word and Excel), and Adobe Acrobat (Portable Document Format) is acceptable and preferable.). Successful supplier may be required to warrant that the items supplied will satisfactorily perform when used for the purpose intended by the Army and that it will be delivered on time. Suppliers capable of furnishing portion of these items are considered acceptable. Technical questions shall be sent to the above address or roger.a.louisaire.civ@mail.mil.
