Description

THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. This is not a solicitation for bids, proposals, proposal abstracts, or quotations. The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is to obtain information regarding the availability and capability of all qualified sources to perform a potential requirement. The responses received from interested contractors will assist the Government in determining the appropriate acquisition method. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), National Acquisition Center (NAC), and the Consolidated Mail Outpatient Pharmacy (CMOP) is seeking potential sources to provide a Tablet/Capsule Automation (TCA) & Automated Mail Packaging System. The Tablet/Capsule Automation (TCA) & Automated Mail Packaging System requirements are listed on Attachment 1. The potential requirement will support the Great Lakes, IL VA Consolidated Mail Outpatient Pharmacy (CMOP) facility. Offerors having the capabilities necessary to provide the above stated equipment are invited to respond to this Sources Sought Notice via e-mail to Patricia Gibson-Anderson at patricia.gibson-anderson@va.gov no later than March 15, 2013. Responses must include company name, address, and size standard; point of contact, including phone number and e-mail address; suggested equipment information and delivery schedule; if company is a manufacturer or distributor; whether system is presently offered on a current GSA Federal Supply Service contract. NAICS code 333249 and Small Business Size Standard 500 employees are applicable to determine business size standard. Any questions or concerns may also be directed to Patricia Gibson-Anderson via email. This announcement is not a request for proposals and no solicitation is available for distribution at this time. This sources sought notice does not obligate the Government to award a contract or otherwise pay for the information provided in the response.
