Description

The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) intends to award a sole source purchase order to Salem Communications Corporation for antenna site space at the following location: Paris Mountain 8 Tower Rd. Greenville, SC 29609 A purchase order will be issued for a base period of 12 months plus 4 (four) 12 months option periods. Due to the uniqueness of this requirement, and the geographical location of the tower, no other location is acceptable. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation and a written solicitation will not be issued. The proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority FAR 13.106-1 (b) (1). This service is being awarded as a commercial item in accordance with FAR Part 12. This notice is not a request for quotes; however, all responsible sources may identify their interest and capability to meet the requirements by submitting their capabilities in writing to the IRS Primary Point of Contact. Written response to this notice must be provided to the IRS Primary Point of Contact's office no later than Fri, March 1, 2013, by 12:00 PM Eastern Time. It is solely within the discretion of the government to evaluate your capabilities, and to make a determination to compete this contract action. Any questions regarding this action should be directed to the IRS Primary Point of Contact.
