Description
THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY - Solicitations are not available at this time. This notice does not constitute a commitment by the Government. The Mission & Installation Contracting Command is conducting market research in compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulations, Part 10. Market research is being conducted to determine interest and capability of potential sources for this requirement. The Contractor shall provide all services, supervision, labor, and equipment, except as specified in the contract as Government-furnished, to perform logistics functions at Fort Lee, Virginia. The following Logistics Functional Areas are covered under this requirement: Installation Transportation Services, Base Supply Services, and Materiel Maintenance. The primary mission of the Materiel Maintenance Division (MMD) is to provide field and sustainment level maintenance support to Fort Lee and AR 5-9 AOR tactical and non-tactical units and government civilian activities in the most cost effective and efficient manner. Maintenance workload may also include special projects as directed, technical assistance to supported units, environmental recycling programs. MMD may include support for other Army programs such as Reset and Left Behind Equipment (LBE). The MMD also provides allied trade and ICIDS. All work shall be accomplished in accordance with requirements outlined in 750-1. The contractor shall establish, operate, and manage Supply Support Services in support of the SSD mission: provide installation supply services in support of Fort Lee tactical units and other DoD activities in accordance with AR 5-9 AOR and applicable DoD policy and directives, AR 710-1, AR 710-2, AR 710-2-1, DA PAM 70-2-1, and AR 735-5. The contractor shall provide supply support services operations to include: Consolidated Installation Property Book Office (CIPBO) (Asset Management Services); Warehouse Operations; retail supply services [supply support activity (SSA) Class II, III (Bulk and Packaged), IV, VII, and IX]; HAZMAT supply and services; and ammunition supply services - ammunition supply point (ASP). The vast majority of supply services work will be conducted on Fort Lee or the immediate area, but can also include work at off-post locations for a limited time in support of tactical unit training or operations. The primary mission of the Installation Transportation Division (ITD) is to provide installation transportation support services to the Fort Lee tactical units and other DoD activities in accordance with AR 5-9 AOR, Personal Property Consignment Guide (PPCIG) and applicable DOD policy and directives, JFTR, JTR and DOD 4500.9-R. Major transportation services include: Material Movement (Freight), Unit Movements, Personal Property, Movement Control Team, and motor pool operations. The majority of Transportation services will be conducted on Fort Lee or the immediate area. However, occasional work at off-post locations, for a limited time, in support of tactical unit movements or inspections may be necessary. All operations and supporting functions shall be conducted in accordance with DoD 4500.9-R parts 1-7, Joint Federal Travel Regulations (Volumes I and II) and other applicable governmental regulations and directives and accepted industry standards. ALL INFORMATION SUBMITTED IN RESPONSE TO THIS ANNOUNCEMENT IS VOLUNTARY AND THE GOVERNMENT WILL NOT PAY FOR INFORMATION REQUESTED NOR WILL IT COMPENSATE ANY RESPONDENT FOR ANY COST INCURRED IN DEVELOPING INFORMATION PROVIDED TO THE GOVERNMENT.
