Description

Sources Sought THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY FOR CRANE AND BARGE RENTAL, BAR POINT HARBOR, KETCHIKAN, ALASKA. OFFER OR PROPOSALS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED FOR THIS NOTICE. THIS IS NOT A PRE-SOLICITATION. The Alaska District of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is conducting research prior to releasing a solicitation for a crane and barge rental in support of a construction project located at Bar Point Harbor in Ketchikan, Alaska. This project is contingent on availability of funds. If the project is cancelled, all proposal preparation costs will be borne by the offeror.. The North American Industrial Classification System code is 532412, which has a size standard of $30 million. All offerors are advised that they must be registered in System for Award Management (SAM) at www.sam.gov in order to receive an award. Joint ventures must also be registered in (SAM) at www.sam.gov as a joint venture. We advise offerors begin this process when they prepare their proposal in order to ensure registration is in place should they be selected for the award. This is under the Service Contract Act.
