- Description
- The work performed under this contract shall consist of furnishing all labor, tools, parts, materials, facilities and transportation necessary to install three (3) 30 ton nominal Dedicated Heat Recovery Chillers each at Azalea (Bldg 6960) and Magnolia (Bldg 7409) Dining Halls to utilize the waste heat in the Triangle loop chilled water return for the purpose of pre-heating the domestic hot water and heating hot water. Installation will include new piping, pumps, variable frequency pump drives and ICS controls to optimize building and loop operation. The waste product of these units is chilled water which will be pumped back out into the triangle chilled water supply loop. This project will help Keesler AFB meet EOS 13423, 13514 and The Energy Policy Act of 2005 Federal Requirements to reduce energy intensity at Keesler AFB, MS. This acquisition will be awarded to a Service-Disable Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVO) Concern, utilizing Performance Price Trade-off (PPT) Procedures. Interested responsible SDVO sources may submit a proposal. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 238220. The size standard is $14 Million. Magnitude of proposed construction is between $500,000.00 and $1,000,000.00. The Solicitation Package, Specifications, and Drawings (if applicable), will tentatively be posted on the FedBizOpps Website: http://www.fbo.gov on/or around 7 March 13 with a tentative closing date of 8 April 13.The contract performance period will be 270 days from the Notice to Proceed. All Contractors wishing to do business with the Government are required to register in the System for Award Management (SAM) DOD Central Contractor Registry (CCR) Database prior to any subsequent award. SAM/CCR Registration may be accomplished online at http://www.ccr.gov/ or https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/. Contractors are further advised that failure to register in the DOD Central Registration Database will render your firm ineligible for award. Registration requires applicants to have a DUNS number. Recommend registering immediately in SAM/CCR in order to be eligible for timely award. The single source of entry for all documentation pertaining to this acquisition will be http://www.fbo.gov.
