Description

The Bureau of Reclamation negotiated a sole source award with up to 4 option years. 1) The Socorro Electronic Shop Software & Licenses contract (R12PX43008) was procured as a sole source award with Wagner Equipment Co. for Electronic Technician Software and User SIS subscriptions - i.e. software and updates to troubleshoot and repair Socorro Field Divisions Caterpillar heavy equipment - in accordance with FAR 13.106-1 (b) - only one source is reasonably available due to exclusive licensing agreements. 2) The contract was a Firm Fixed Price Contract for a Base Year and Four One-Year Options and included FAR Clauses 52.217-08, Option to Extend Services, and 52.217-09, Option to Extend the Term of the Contract. 3) The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 511210. The SBA size standard is $25 million. The Government anticipates exercising Option Year One for the period of performance of March 1, 2013 through March 1, 2014, and also has the option to exercise additional option periods of up to three years, as well as an additional option period of six months, for a total contract period of up to five years and six months.
