- Special Notice: Notice of Intent. The Western Regional Contracting Office, Tacoma, WA, intends to award a sole-source, short-term, firm-fixed price bridge contract with a period of performance of 1 March 2013 to 31 August 2013 for Hospital Housekeeping Services at Madigan Army Medical Center, Joint Base Lewis McChord, WA to Hospital Klean of Texas. Qualified vendors may identify their interest and capabilities by responding to this notice. This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive proposals. The Government will consider all responses received within three days after the date of publication of this notice. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Center for Health Care Contracting is in the process of soliciting/awarding a single, long-term options contract for ALL on and off post hospital housekeeping services for MAMC. Responses may be emailed to thomas.a.lamb@us.army.mil. The anticipated award date is on or before 28 February 2013.
