Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs Network Contracting Office (NCO 15) is soliciting proposals on a full and open competitive basis from qualified organizations to award of a fixed priced, Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity contract. The North America Industry Classification System Code [NAICS] is 325412, Pharmaceutical Preparation Manufacturing and the size standard is 750 employees. The proposed contract will cover performance periods that include base period of (12) months only. It is anticipated that the contract will be awarded April 1, 2013. The solicitation is scheduled to be issued on or about February 14, 2013 and will be issued via Fed Biz Opps Electronic Posting System at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. Offerors are responsible for checking the web site regularly to obtain any amendments. All questions and concerns regarding this solicitation shall be sent by email to: Rickie.Fearing@va.gov. No telephonic inquiries will be accepted. The Contractor is to provide Radiopharmaceutical products as listed and requested by authorized VA staff in accordance with Public Law 104-262 and 38 USC 8153 in order to support the Kansas City VA Health Care System. The radiopharmaceuticals shall be in unit dose with bar code for tracking. Also, the doses shall be calibrated and labeled with concentration, calibration, time, total volume, total activity, lot number and prescription number for proper identification. Since the radiopharmaceuticals are deem hazardous material, all delivery shall be in lead-shielded containers by a driver certified to transport hazardous material. Plastic shrink wrap fitted at union of container cap and base to ensure proper seal. Interested sources should read the solicitation in it's entirety.
