- Description
- The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to award Rolls-Royce Corporation (RRC) a sole-source contract for the efforts necessary to provide AE1107C Contractor Field Service (CFS) support at theater locations Outside the Continental United States OCONUS. The Contractor CFS shall provide technical assistance to government maintenance personnel in support of AE1107C engines. These requirements will be procured in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Rolls-Royce is the sole designer, developer, and producer of the AE1107C engine. As such, it is the only responsible source that possesses the technical data, equipment and requisite knowledge required to meet the Government's requirement.
