Description

The Louis A. Johnson VA Medical Center (LAJVAMC) is issuing this request for information/sources sought notice in order to identify businesses that manufacture, sell or distribute Image-Guided Surgery Systems designed and used for Functional Endoscopic Sinus Surgery (FESS). These systems are commonly referred to as ENT Navigation Systems. LAJVAMC is seeking the following types of information: 1. The types, models, brands, etc. of ENT Navigation Systems currently available and used in the commercial marketplace, including the system's: a. Instrument tracking capabilities; b. Reproducible accuracy capabilities; c. Visualization method (e.g., electromagnetic); d. Calibration methods; e. Instrument options; f. Preoperative setup time; g. Reusable equipment (and sterilization) options; h. Other information that describes the system's functionality, capability, characteristics, accessories, options, etc. 2. Vendor name, socio-economic status (e.g., Veteran-Owned, Woman-Owned, Disadvantaged Small Business, 8(a), etc.), person of contact (including telephone number & email address). 3. Federal Supply Schedule (FSS) availability, if applicable. Responses to the information requested above may be submitted (1) via email to james.whisner@va.gov, or (2) via mail to Department of Veterans Affairs Louis A. Johnson VAMC Attn: Contracting, James Whisner 1 Med Center Drive, Clarksburg, WV 26301. Responses must be submitted by 11:00 AM (EST) February 25, 2013. This request for information/sources sought synopsis is for planning purposes ONLY. The Louis A. Johnson VAMC (LAJVAMC) assumes no responsibility for any costs incurred associated with the preparation of responses submitted as a result of this notice.
