- Description of work requested. Sources Sought Synopsis Moving Services BPA Contract This market survey is being conducted to identify potential sources that may possess the expertise, capabilities, and experience to meet the requirements in order to successfully be considered and compete for the chance to be awarded the contract to provide technical resolutions for packing, containerization and local drayage of direct procurement method (DPM) personal property shipments improving operational performance for the JPPSO-COS group. Due to the high degree of expertise and functionality required for these services, a successful offer must be able to provide services with a minimum of 5 years of moving and storage services. 1. Below is a document containing a description of packing, containerization and local drayage of direct procurement method (DPM) personal property shipments requirement and a Contractor Capability Survey, which allows you to provide your company's capability. 2. If, after reviewing these documents, you desire to participate in the market research, you should provide documentation that supports your company's capability in meeting these requirements. Failure to provide documentation may result in the government being unable to adequately assess your capabilities. If you lack sufficient experience in a particular area, please provide details explaining how you would overcome the lack of experience/capabilities in order to perform that portion of the requirement (i.e., teaming, subcontracting, etc.) 3. Questions relative to this market survey should be addressed to Dustin Harvey (801)775-2365 REQUIREMENTS DESCRIPTION Moving Services Contract PURPOSE/DESCRIPTION The contractor will furnish all personnel, equipment, facilities, supplies, services and materials, except as specified herein as government-furnished, for the preparation of personal property of Department of Defense (DOD) personnel for shipment and/or storage and related services through the DPM. Work to be performed will be those services in the Schedules awarded to the contractor as outlined in individual Contract Line Item Number (CLIN) items. Tasks by type of move are reflected in Table G-1. Task/Type of Move Matrix, showing which tasks normally apply to each type of move. Specific requirements for each task are described below. If specific instructions or requirements are not provided, commercial standards of services and best business practices are acceptable.
