- Description
- It is the intention of the 23d Contracting Squadron to issue an invitation for bids (IFB) for projects QSEU 13-9001, Repair HVAC Systems, Buildings 328, 663, 792, and 1530 and QSEU 13-9005, Install Economizers and CO2 Sensors on HVAC Units. The contractor shall furnish all materials, supervision, equipment, and related items to repair the HVAC Systems in Buildings 328, 663, 792, and 1530 and install economizers and CO2 sensors on HVAC units. Performance of this project will take place at Moody AFB, Georgia. This is a Small Business set aside, firm fixed price, Invitation for Bid (IFB) and is limited to SBA certified Small Business concerns. A firm fixed price contract will be issued with a performance period of 330 calendar days after the issuance of Notice to Proceed. All work shall be in strict compliance with the conditions of the contract, specifications, and drawings. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 238220 with a size standard of $14 million. The project magnitude is between $250,000 and $500,000. The successful contractor will be selected using FAR 52.214-19 Contract Award-Sealed Bidding-Construction. With FAR 52.228-1 Bid Guarantee, as prescribed in 28.101-2, Bid Guarantee, All bidders will be required to comply. Site visit date will be noted in the solicitation. All interested parties are highly encouraged to attend the site visit. All firms offering on the requirement must be registered with the System for Award Management (SAM) in order to receive an award. Information regarding the process for registering may be found by visiting http://www.sam.gov. Offerors must have active Online Representation and Certification (ORCA). The ORCA website is https://sam.gov. The IFB documents, including the specifications and drawings, will be made available on the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) website at http://www.fbo.gov. Once the solicitation is posted, it is incumbent upon all interested vendors to review the FBO.gov site frequently for any updates/amendments to any and all documents.
