Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Requisition Number W81EWF23669916 is being issued as a request for quotes (RFQ) with intent to award as a simplified acquisition. The solicitation document and incorporated provision and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-65. This requirement is 100% set-aside for Small Businesses under NAICS Code 334516 with employees not exceeding 500. The US Army Corps of Engineers, Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC) needs to purchase a Total Organic Carbon (TOC) Analyzer. This will be delivered FOB destination to Deborah Felt at the Engineer Research and Development Center, 3909 Halls Ferry Road, Vicksburg, MS 39180-6199. Requirements are given below: REQUIREMENTS: The TOC Analyzer must meet the following specifications: -Must be capable of analyzing solid and liquid environmental samples -Must include a sample preparation module to enable the analysis of solid materials. -Must be capable of analyzing wastewater, surface water, and other environmental samples -Must have the ability to perform analysis using heated persulfate or high temperature combustion oxidation on a single platform -Must be capable of user-selected temperature for heated persulfate oxidation method from ambient to 100 degrees C in 1 degree C increments -Must include a dual-path combustion technology reactor system for extended reactor use and minimize reactor maintenance -System should have an electronic pressure control to adjust parameters and allow for super sequencing. -Must have automated cleanup and start-up/shutdown for gas saving -Must be capable of parallel sample processing when operated in persulfate oxidation mode, with two separate reaction vessels permitting increased sample throughput. Price must include shipping, FOB Destination.
