- THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY. There is no solicitation available at this time. This Sources Sought Notice is issued for the sole purpose of conducting market research in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 10. The Government will not pay for any materials provided in response to this notice. If a solicitation is later released, it will be synopsized in FedBizOps. It is the potential business concerns responsibility to monitor this site for the release of any synopsis or solicitation. This effort is to seek qualified prime vendor capable of fulfilling the requirements to provide services in support of the Oregon National Guard 2-218 FA training exercise being conducted in Yakima, WA 98901. Approximate timeframe is 8-21 June 2013. The potential vendor will need to be able to provide a sleeping tent to accommodate approximately 350 soldiers and allow for 40 sqft per soldier. There will also need to be feeding tent approximately 2800 sqft. There is a need for rental of a photo copier. The machine should be a high-speed copier with digital capability, stapling, dual siding, sorting, scanning, and faxing as well as multiple paper shredders. Shower units that have between 20-25 showerheads and 20-25 hand washing/shaving stations to facilitate 450 showers a day. Laundry service handling will be needed for approximately 350 soldiers and estimated 40lbs per soldier. Service includes cleaning and folding with a 24 hour turn around will be required. There will be a need for catered breakfast and Dinner for the advanced party of soldiers and the trail party after the main body departs. Breakfast and Dinner meals for 15 soldiers 8-11 June; Dinner for 480 soldiers on 11 June and 18-19 June; breakfast meals for 480 soldiers on 12 June and 19-20 June. These are approximate numbers and dates. For the rest of the exercise, there is a need for continuous service of A-rations, ice, and storage of these items. Approximately 2 reefer vans or trailers will be needed to keep food chilled and safe for the use of cooking meals during the main training period. There will also be the need to have ice delivered on a daily basis. There is a requirement for 70 outdoor style portable chemical toilets and 10 portable hand washings stations. The contractor is to provide all setup, maintenance, cleaning, and removal of rented items. The contractor must remain on site to facilitate maintenance requests. There is no on-post lodging available for contractors. Please see attached performance work statement. The acquisition strategy has not been determined at this time. The applicable NAICS code is 561210 Facilities Support Services, industrial with a small business size standard of $35.5M in annual revenue.
