- This announcement serves as a Sources Sought Notice issued for the purpose of market research in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 10. This Sources Sought Notice is issued solely for information and planning purposes and does not constitute a solicitation nor is this notice a Request for Proposals (RFP). DLA Troop Support is NOT requesting a quote or proposal in response to this notice. This notice should not be construed as a commitment by DLA Troop Support for any purpose. The Government does not intend to pay for information furnished pursuant to this RFI. The purpose for this Sources Sought Notice is to conduct market research to identify parties having an interest in, and the resources to support this requirement. For the purpose of this acquisition, the North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code is 333413 - and the applicable size standard is 500 employees. DLA Troop Support seeks your expression of interest and any suggestion regarding DLA Troop Support's desire to establish supply support of a: Fan, Vanaxial (NSN 4140-01-113-8312/4140-01-113-8313). Component Information Requirements: Drawing 2600205 Cage 80064 Technical Characteristics Performance: 500 CFM Min at 3" H2O, Min Static Pressure Rise at 70 Degree F Air Temp and.075*/FT3 Air Density at 26 AMPS MAX. at 28 VDC. Fan will normally operate in air at up to 185 degrees F. Testing: Fan shall be tested IAW MIL-STD-810 as outline on Drawing Drawing 2600205 cage 80064 Revision E. Material: Housing and stationary Blades: Fabricated Design: Aluminum - 6061-T6 SPEC QQ-A-250/11. Cast Design -Casting Aluminum 335-T6 or 356-T6 Spec QQ-A-596. Motor Shaft shall be steel, CRES (17-4 PH SPEC AMS 5643 Precipitation Harden to Condition H 1150) Motor Frame shall be Tube, Steel, Carbon, SMLS MT 1010 Thru MTX 1020. SPEC ASTM-A-519 Propeller and Motor ends shall be casting, Aluminum, Alloy 380.0 SPEC QQ-A-591. Receptacle 2630473-15 Motor shall be totally enclosed -waterproof Fan shall not generate radiated or conducted interference in excess of limits specified PER MIL-STD-461 (RE 05. CE 07) Service life of the Fan shall be a minimum of 1000 Hours. If interested in becoming qualified to manufacture the item, you will be required to submit a SAR package for approval.
