- Statement of Work Brand Name Aprroved Justification Authority This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with the information in FAR Subpart 12.6, using Simplified Acquisition Procedures under FAR Part 13 as supplemented with the additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a written solicitation will not be issued. PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE. This combined synopsis/solicitation SHALL be posted on FEDBIZOPPS the RFQ number is DOL131RQ21653. This solicitation and documents, incorporates the provisions and clauses in effect through FAC 2005-65. It is the responsibility of the contractor to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions. The clauses may be accessed in full text at these addresses: https://www.acquisition.gov/far/fac.html. The NAICS code is 423430 and the Small Business Standard is 100 employees. The proposed contract action is for a BRAND NAME ONLY requirement in accordance with FAR 6.302-1 (c). The requirements are as follows: CLIN 0001 Renewal of the Certificate Management Services (CMS) Qty 1, Term 24 Months CLIN 0002 Renewal of Entrust Digital Standard SSL Certificates in the CMS Qty 100, Term 24 Months CLIN 0003 Renewal of Entrust Digital Wildcard SSL Certificates in the CMS Qty 2, Term 24 Months CLIN 0004 24/7/365 Platinum Support for existing Certificates, Software and Licenses, Qty 1, Term 24 Months Period of Performance is to be February 17, 2013 - February 16, 2015. Responsibility and Inspection: unless otherwise specified in the order, the supplier is responsible for the performance of all inspection requirements and quality control. The following FAR provision and clauses are applicable to this procurement: 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors - Commercial Items; 52.212-3 and its ALT I, Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items; 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions - Commercial Items 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders - Commercial Items Additional contract terms and conditions applicable to this procurement are: Offeror must be an Entrust authorized reseller and/or authorized maintenance technician, and MUST provide an Entrust authorized reseller/Maintenance technician letter attached in the solicitation response in order to be considered for award. This solicitation is issued as a Small Business Set-Aside; The Government intends to award a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) Purchase Order, to the offeror with the Lowest Price Technically Acceptable offer. Please see attachment for the Statement of Work and Approved J&A. Offerors must be registered in the CCR prior to solicitation closing. This announcement will close at 5:00pm February 11, 2013.
