- Special Notice: This announcement is issued solely for information and program planning purposes. There is no solicitation available at this time. The Government anticipates an overarching total small business set aside, IDIQ contracting vehicle. The U.S. Army Research, Development and Engineering Command, Army Research Laboratory, Human Research and Engineering Directorate, SFC Paul Ray Smith Simulation and Training Technology Center (RDECOM-ARL HRED STTC), will be conducting Industry Day for the STES Support IDIQ Contract February 12, 2013 from 8:00am - 5:00pm at the University of Central Florida (UCF) Partnership II Building, 3100 Technology Parkway, Orlando, FL 32826-3271, 2nd Floor Room 208. Interested contractors may participate in the STES Industry Day event by contracting Ms. Briann Richardson at briann.richardson@us.army.mil with the name(s) and title(s) of those attending from your company. The purpose of this Industry day is to provide an overview of requirements under the IDIQ. This Industry event will be an informative meeting for vendors. Current requirements and future needs of STES IDIQ will be discussed. Attendance at this Industry Day is voluntary. The Government will not reimburse participants for any costs incurred for this event. Only those eligible to submit proposals may participate; foreign persons, as defined by the U.S. Department of State, under Title 22, Foreign Relations, Section 120.16, may not attend Industry Day. This notice shall not be construed as a Request for Proposal or an obligation on the part of the Government. All information and discussions that take place at the Industry Day will be done at the unclassified level. Questions will be addressed during the event, however the Government may not respond that day to all specific questions or comments submitted in response to this announcement or information provided as a result of this announcement. The point of contact for questions concerning Industry day should be emailed to briann.richardson@us.army.mil. No phone calls will be accepted. No one on one session will be offered at this time. ******UPDATE******* Please be aware that we have reached maximum capacity for February 12, 2013. An additional day has been added for the Industry Day event. The second day is Wednesday, February 13, 2013 from 8:00am - 5:00pm at the University of Central Florida (UCF) Partnership II Building, 3100 Technology Parkway, Orlando, FL 32826-3271, 2nd Floor Room 208. If you have already signed up and received an RSVP confirmation, you will NOT be able to change the day of attendance unless there are extenuating circumstances that will be approved by the Contract Specialist, Briann Richardson, only.
