Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC), Fayetteville, NC is seeking potential sources capable of providing Temporary community-based emergency housing to homeless Veterans including but not limited to, beds, restroom, bath, kitchen facilities, and related furnishings. Admissions to Temporary community-based emergency housing will be necessary before and/or after Fayetteville VAMC administrative hours (8:00am-4:30PM). The Contractor to provide Temporary Residential Housing to include but not limited to, beds, restroom, bath, kitchen facilities, and related furnishings. Admissions to Emergency Residential Housing will be necessary before and/or after Fayetteville VAMC administrative hours (8:00am-4:30PM). The contractor shall provide Temporary Emergency Residential Shelter services for the beneficiaries within a 50 mile radius of the Fayetteville VA Medical Center. The Contractor shall provide adequate security measures, e.g., security systems, locked doors and windows. Provide food for three balanced meals daily and snacks daily to each shelter resident. The Contractor shall provide personal hygiene items, first aid supplies and storage as needed. The number of beds required would range from 3 to 15. The NAICS code for this requirement is 623990. Contract period will be Date of Award through September 30, 2013 with two (2) one year renewable option years. The procurement will be conducted utilizing the commercial item procedures of FAR 12 in conjunction with FAR 13 and 15. Solicitation packages will be available on or about February 8, 2013.
